About Us
Back in Motion Physical Therapy has proudly served Springville, Alabama, and its surrounding communities since 2002.
We provide evidence-based, effective treatments for a wide range of conditions, from back pain to Parkinson’s Disease. Founded by Scott Deuel, PT MHSc ATC MTC, our practice has grown adding additional physical therapists and staff members to provide a top facility to serve our patients.
We have four physical therapists here with extensive years of experience. Owner Scott Deuel has 31 years of experience. Eddie Adams has about 24 years of experience. Lindsey Deweese, PT, DPT, has 10 years.

An important adage that has shaped our philosophy is, “If you want to do a better treatment, do a better evaluation.”
We focus on doing a thorough evaluation, so we create a treatment plan that is going to successfully achieve the goals that the patient needs and that we, as physical therapists, want for our patients.

We know all physical therapists should say that they care about their patients, but in our case, we are confident in stating that we really do care. We are a part of our community, and our patients are neighbors, colleagues, and friends. And we want to see that get well and recover from pain and injuries.
Springville is a small community, but we see people from all over St. Clair County as well as adjacent counties and towns like Pell City, Trussville, Gadsden, Talladega to name a few.
